    Excuses are good reasons for aborting your intentions, but not necessarily truthful reasons. The problem with excuses is that you give yourself a free pass from having to take responsibility. Sure, it’s hard to admit that you’re lazy or weak, but admitting the truth is your best chance for you to recognize and overcome destructive tendencies.
