Doc in the past I have had periods of time when anxiety abated. I m guessing this is when i truly believed that the meds, therapy or whatever was working. What do you think? C

Yes, no question about it. Whenever a hopeful, optimistic attitude is embraced, anxiety melts. In a sense, anxiety/depression is a
clinging to hopelessness.

You don't find hope, you release it.

In order to "release" hope, happiness, etc., you must clear away the clutter of insecurity-driven thinking. Once you are no longer a slave to doubts, fears and negatives (i.e., insecurity-driven thinking) your natural tendency for a hopeful, optimistic life can emerge. Please continue with your Self-Talk efforts.

Thanks. I keep buying more cbt books, filling out more sheets and today feel totally bogged down. I will wait for my high intensity cbt appointments to begin but in the meantime i'll keep on keeping on. Physical stuff still isnt sorted. C
