I really need to know if there is hope. Am so uptight i feel sick. Am i doomed?

You're asking me to respond directly to your situation, which professionally I cannot do. In a generic sense, from a Self-Coaching perspective, there is always hope! Anything else is the voice of insecurity.

Whether or not Self-Coaching can eliminate all anxieties or all depressions, the answer is no. There are too many variables to involved for me to make a blanket statment. However, from my 37 years of practice, anyone who eliminates the chronic stress induced by insecurity-driven thinking does improve. It is my contention that since insecurity is the motor behind anxiety and (most) depressions, once you eliminate reflexive, insecurity driven thinking, you starve the habits of anxiety and depression. Hope this helps, I know that doubt is hard to overcome, but do keep in mind that taking the true leap of faith needed to embrace self-trust is, from a Self-Coaching perspective, the answer.

Been back to gp. Meds changed to help with the dark thoughts. Will keep learning with cbt and self coaching. Thanks for all your replies.
