What’s really important

You may have heard it said that if you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it. This notion needs to be challenged. BIG TIME! From a Self-Coaching perspective, the key to success and happiness isn’t striving for the best “outcome,” it’s recognizing the need to embrace your best “effort.” Truth is, you can never give more than your best effort. It would be like a runner who says, I did my best and ran that race as fast as could, but I should have run faster! This poor bloke is destined to feel like a failure. The key to genuine happiness is learning to embrace your best effort.
